The performance Andaguraundo was inspired by Haruki Murakami’s novel Underground about the sarin gas attacks in the Tokyo subway in 1995. The five tableaux, which include a video, explore the motivation and copycat effect of terrorism in a general context of violence, counter-violence, tension and helplessness. "We fly into the TV tower, spray poison gas and grill our marshmallows over the glowing bones of a Korean student who has just committed suicide by self-immolation."
