Im Rahmen der Gruppenausstellung km 500-2 rekonstruiere ich eine Ecke der Kunsthalle als Kulisseneck. Die gezeigten Videoarbeiten basieren ihrerseits auf einem nachgebauten Raumausschnitt. Modell trifft hier auf Realität, bewegtes auf statisches Bild. Es mag keinen tatsächlichen Stillstand geben, doch kommt die Wirkung dem nahe.
As part of the group exhibition km 500-2, I am reconstructing a corner of the art gallery as a backdrop wall. The videos on display are in turn based on a reconstructed section of space. In the videos, model meets reality, moving meets static image. There may be no actual standstill, but the effect comes close.
